What you get

Implementation and operation of ECP is a big challenge, which is why at PFR TFI you can count on comprehensive support and tools that will facilitate the launch and operation of the programme.

What you need to know

Employee Capital Plans (Pracownicze Plany Kapitałowe) is a universal long-term savings scheme for additional retirement funds, funded by employees, employers and the state. Savings in ECP constitute private property of the participant and are inheritable. The scheme is mandatory for the employer, but voluntary for the employee.

Payments are calculated on the basis of the salary which forms the basis for pension insurance contributions. The payments are made monthly by the employer. In addition, the participant receives a one-time welcome payment from the state and an annual allowance once a year.

Payments to ECP come from 3 sources:

  • employee contribution 2% of gross salary + voluntarily up to 2%
  • employer's contribution 1.5% of gross salary + voluntarily up to 2.5%
  • state contribution PLN 250 welcome payment + PLN 240 every year

What requirements do you need to meet?

Establishment of an ECP is mandatory in principle for all employers, which means that as many as 11 million employees may participate in it.

How to use the product?

Implementation in a newly established company

About 1,000 companies are created in Poland every day. They are also obliged to establish a PPK if they employ people. They are subject to individual implementation deadlines. They have the time to sign a PPK contract on behalf of and for  the employee no later than the 10th day of the following month in which the 3-month (90-day) period of employment of that person expired.

Change of the managing authority to PFR TFI

The level of service, the support and tools offered, as well as the investment results achieved in each financial institution managing the PPK may be different. Remember that, after consultation with your employees, you can transfer PPK management to PFR TFI at any time. The whole process is just a few steps.

Additional information

Why establish an ECP with PFR TFI?

A professional team will help you go through the whole process of ECP implementation, train you in procedures and systems, provide templates for forms, declarations and materials for your employees - all this so that you have as little work to do as possible.

Modern and intuitive iPPK system to operate the programme

The system facilitates:

  • conclusion of a contract for ECP operation,
  • employee registration,
  • processing instructions given by employees,
  • transferring deposit files,
  • generating reports,
  • managing ECP management privileges,
  • exchange of files generated by the most popular HR and payroll systems (CSV, XLSX, XLS, XML, TXT),
  • integration with the majority of HR and payroll systems available on the market via API, which enables process automation and reduction of employer involvement.

Help with fulfilling the employer's obligations:

  • information provision - we will tell you what to communicate to your employees and when,
  • handling instructions - we will explain what kinds of instructions are processed by the employer and what instructions should be submitted by employees to PFR TFI. We will inform you when the declarations submitted become effective,
  • registering employees and updating the list of those registered - we will provide information on when and how to do this and who should be included,
  • calculation of payments - we will tell you when to deduct them from salary, when and how to send them to the fund,
  • archiving - we will help you fulfil your obligations related to archiving of payments and indicate which documents and should be kept and for how long.

Training and information materials

We provide comprehensive training for employers and their employees both at the company's office and online. Persons responsible for the implementation of the ECP will be provided with detailed information related to the operation of the programme and the iPPK system, and employees will be shown the benefits of participating in the programme and the functions of the IAT FI service dedicated to ECP participants.

Depending on your needs, we can also provide informational brochures and posters, mailing service, series of articles about ECP and educational films.
